T.E.A.M. Works

T.E.A.M. Works, LLC is a portable acupuncture practice in the tradition of community acupuncture clinics. We administer treatments to patients in a group setting using portable reclining chairs. One main goal of ours is to increase accessibility of East Asian medicine to a wider population by making it more affordable and part of a regular routine.

What do we offer?

In a word, convenience. Our services are offered in an unusually flexible format – we come to you in your workplace. This means no cross town drive, no juggling schedules to make an appointment. Your time and money are valuable, and we believe you don’t have to choose between tending to your work or tending to your health.

We bring you all of the tools within our scope of practice as Licensed Acupuncturists in the state of Oregon, including acupuncture, massage, reflexology, herbal medicine prescriptions, health screening and wellness consultations.

Acupuncture: Points are typically selected on the lower legs, forearms, scalp and ears to treat any ailment in any setting.

Bodywork: Consisting of Tuina or Shiatsu massage for local complaints (such as carpal tunnel) or stress relief.  Acupressure can be a complement or alternative to acupuncture.  Foot and hand reflexology are also available to treat internal disorders.

Herbal Medicine: Consultations can be in person or by phone. Custom formulas and standard patents are prescribed.  Herbs can be delivered or picked up.

Customized Services

Your business is unique and T.E.A.M. Works is designed to accommodate each individual workplace.  The process we implement in your flexible use space – which could be a conference room, break room or other mixed-use space – involves our setting up a temporary clinic with our portable reclining chairs.

Appointments are scheduled in fifteen-minute increments. In that time we are face to face with our patient and complete the interview and treatment, allowing them to relax for up to 30 minutes. T.E.A.M. Works absolutely returns the group spaces to pre-session condition and will collaborate with facilities staff as needed.

What is the cost?

We have several different pricing structures uniquely suited to serve your business in the form of Seasonal Intensives, Client or Staff Appreciation Events, and weekly or biweekly individual sessions. Rates are flexible according to what you choose to offer your staff and can be paid by the employer or individually by each patient. We would love to show you examples of potential packages and rate structures.

Our Practitioners

Acupuncturists are required to complete a minimum of three years in an accredited graduate program, with one year of mentored clinical internship. They must pass national board examinations and obtain licensure through the state Board of Medical Examiners. Acupuncturists are covered with malpractice insurance that follows them wherever they practice medicine. Our practitioners are skilled professionals with the shared goal of increasing access to East Asian Medicine.
